With Small Business Bonfire (SBB), my ultimate goal is to impart my knowledge and support fellow entrepreneurs in their pursuit of success.

You Can Trust Small Business Bonfire
Since 2009, the Small Business Bonfire team and I have been dedicated to helping fellow entrepreneurs start and scale their businesses. We do this by providing our honest take on business software. We’ve tested hundreds of platforms. To learn more about how we test, please read this article here.
NetHunt is a cloud-based, sales automation-focused customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Say that five times fast!
Let’s break down what all of that means.
Essentially, NetHunt is designed to automate your sales process, empower your sales teams, and help you close more deals.
Add in the fact that it’s a secure, centralized database with seamless Gmail integration, and you’ve got yourself a CRM worth checking out!
Some features NetHunt offers include:
Contact managementSales automationTask managementCampaign managementLive chat integrationPipeline management
The real standout for NetHunt CRM (in our opinion) was just how easy to use it was. And we’re talking complex automation, real time integrations, and powerful pipeline management—all made simple.
We’ve tested a lot of software over the years, and it’s not often that such a powerful platform has virtually no learning curve.
It’s perfect for SMBs who aren’t tech-savvy or are just starting out. It’s also a fantastic sales automation tool to help make life easier and your business run more smoothly.
No CRM is perfect, and that includes NetHunt CRM. So let’s go over the pros and cons.
Seamless Gmail integration
Easy to manage multiple pipelines
Lead nurturing capabilities
Great user interface
Powerful contact management
Robust sales automation (workflows)
Advanced security measures
Lacks advanced marketing features
No free plan
NetHunt is a great platform with a ton of utility, but let’s narrow it down.
Here’s who we think NetHunt is best suited for:
Small businesses – NetHunt is great for small businesses just getting started. It’s incredibly easy to learn, and you can get up and running quickly. There are lots of great email marketing capabilities and contact management tools to help build and strengthen relationships as you scale.Midsize businesses – As your business grows, so does your workload. NetHunt provides fantastic workflow automation to eliminate tedious tasks, foster teamwork, and help you stay on track with your activities.Sales teams – We think NetHunt is a natural fit for sales teams because it allows plenty of lead nurturing tools, such as bulk emailing and live chat integration. Plus, managing and customizing multiple pipelines is easy, allowing your sales teams to track and close deals faster.
Let’s face it, NetHunt CRM isn’t for everyone.
Here are some situations we don’t think NetHunt is particularly well suited for:
Large enterprises – If you’re a large enterprise or an organization that needs more advanced features, such as landing page or ad creation, you’ll want to check out a more robust (and more expensive) platform.Startups – Despite how easy it is to learn, the lack of a free plan and the fact that there are cheaper options out there makes it tough to recommend NetHunt CRM to startups.
NetHunt CRM offers three paid plans.
These include the following:
Basic – $24/month per userBusiness – $48/month per userAdvanced – $96/month per user
Now let’s see how NetHunt CRM stacks up against the completion regarding pricing and features.
We compared the basic plans of three popular CRMs against NetHunt.
Let’s check it out.
NetHunt CRM – $24/month per user
No free planMultiple pipelinesAdvanced email marketingPowerful tools to manage contactsIntegrates seamlessly with Gmail
HubSpot CRM – $50/month, 2 users
Free plan1 pipelineAdvanced email marketingPowerful tools to manage contactsIntegrates seamlessly with Gmail
Streak CRM -$15/month per user
Free planMultiple pipelinesAdvanced email marketingPowerful tools to manage contactsIntegrates seamlessly with Gmail
Monday Sales CRM – $14/month per user
Free planMultiple pipelinesBasic email marketingPowerful tools to manage contactsIntegrates seamlessly with Gmail
If we’re going based solely on pricing, Monday Sales would technically be the winner. However, when you compare features, Streak CRM and NetHunt CRM are a clear head and shoulders above the competition.
Both platforms have a seamless Google integration (including other Google Workspace apps) and offer many advanced features.
Between Streak CRM and NetHunt, we’ve got to go with NetHunt simply because it’s much easier to use. When it comes to complex processes and managing a ton of data, a great user interface goes a long way!
Contact management with NetHunt is seriously awesome.
Let’s start from square one.
We were given the option to either import our contacts or create them from scratch.
We loved that NetHunt allowed us to automatically import them from other popular CRMs, including:
InsightlyStreakCopperOnePageCRM
The SBB team and I had recently been testing Insightly, so we decided to see how the import process went.
We simply input the API code and everything synced up perfectly!
So, if you’re looking to move to NetHunt from another CRM, we can safely say it’s completely painless regarding customer organization.
We also added some affiliate marketing B2B contacts at Small Business Bonfire.
The process took just a few clicks and filling out some fields. Here’s how it looked from our perspective.
We especially liked how we could create individual lists to organize contacts, easily segmenting them.
Here’s our contacts dashboard, where we created a list called “affiliate marketing contacts.”
Some other standout aspects of this feature are:
It’s extremely easy to edit contact informationEach card holds a ton of customer dataThere’s a convenient search bar to find contacts quicklyContact columns are easily customizable
At the end of the day, NetHunt has contact management capabilities that rival the best CRMs on the market.
It’s safe to say that the CRM far exceeded our expectations in this regard!
NetHunt CRM shines when it comes to pipeline management. With a clean, visual interface, tracking and managing deals from prospect to close is a breeze.
We were able to quickly set up a pipeline for our affiliate marketing partnerships.
From there, adding deals was as easy as clicking “new” and filling out the deal’s specifics. Here’s how it looked during our testing.
We liked that NetHunt allows you to have multiple pipelines if your business requires it—for instance if you’re managing different types of sales processes or targeting different customer segments.
This feature brings an extra layer of flexibility that many SMBs can take advantage of.
After all, not every CRM offers the ability to manage multiple pipelines.
Each pipeline can have its own stages, and you can customize the probability of closing a deal at each stage.
This helps you better predict revenue and manage your sales efforts more effectively.
We found that updating and editing the pipeline was straightforward, too—a few clicks, and you’re done!
Here’s a view of our affiliate partnerships pipeline once we had some deals put in.
NetHunt CRM has truly taken the complexity out of pipeline management, making it a standout feature of the sales solution.
Whether you’re a small business or a growing midsize company, NetHunt’s pipeline management capabilities are built to help you streamline and optimize your sales process.
A great email campaign is like rocket fuel for your marketing efforts.
The great news is that NetHunt CRM has you covered in this regard.
We easily created an email campaign for our Bonfire Field Guide (our #1 resource for helping SMBs scale their efforts quickly).
We’ll walk you through how it went for us.
We navigated to the “email campaigns” tab and clicked “new campaign.” We named the campaign, chose a folder, and selected a view.
From there, we created an initial email template (shown below).
We were able to easily add the following to each email template:
MacrosLinksPicturesFilesUnsubscribe links
After that, we were able to schedule each part of the campaign to be sent at a specific time. Plus, we could send emails through Gmail or directly from NetHunt CRM.
This feature is perfect for any sales team looking to increase their lead nurturing capabilities.
While it’s not the flashiest campaign creation we’ve seen, NetHunt gets the job done!
Add in the fact that it’s extremely easy to navigate, and you have an impressive email marketing platform. Trust us when we say your marketing team will thank you for switching to NetHunt.
NetHunt ensures a high level of security on the CRM software solution.
Here are some of the standout aspects of their advanced security features:
Independent ownership of CRM data: One of the key features is that you retain full ownership of your CRM data. This ensures your information remains private and under your control.Access permissions: NetHunt provides robust access permission settings, allowing you to control who within your organization can access specific data.Third-party security testing: Regular third-party security testing is part of the NetHunt security protocol, providing an extra layer of protection and assurance of system integrity.Privacy compliance: NetHunt adheres to international privacy compliance standards, ensuring your data is handled in line with global best practices.Deletion protection: Robust deletion protection mechanisms are in place to prevent accidental data loss. This means you can recover data even if it’s deleted inadvertently.Google Cloud infrastructure: NetHunt leverages the robustness of Google Cloud infrastructure, providing a reliable and secure environment for your data.Encrypted data: With data encryption, NetHunt ensures that the information stored within the CRM is safeguarded against unauthorized access.
In conclusion, NetHunt CRM’s advanced security features provide a highly secure environment for your business data, making it a reliable choice for SMBs prioritizing data privacy and security (which should be everyone).
NetHunt CRM’s sales automation is something to write home about.
This feature, known as “workflows,” is essentially a series of automations designed to eliminate tedious tasks from your workload.
We utilized these workflows extensively during our three-month testing period at Small Business Bonfire.
Check out one of the workflows we created called “Auto Assign User to New Deal.”
The whole process took less than 5 minutes and made us feel like tech geniuses!
As you can see, the automation required only two actions to set up. It worked like magic from there on out whenever we created new deals in our pipelines.
The automation we were able to create ranged from simple tasks like automatically assigning incoming leads to a sales rep to more complex workflows like triggering follow-up emails when a deal reaches a certain stage or a specific condition is met.
This dramatically reduced the time we spent on routine tasks and allowed our team to focus more on strategy and customer satisfaction.
While sales automation isn’t unique to NetHunt CRM, what’s great about the platform is how easy it makes the process.
We can confidently say that NetHunt’s sales automation workflows are a game-changer for busy sales-focused teams and SMBs, making life significantly easier!
Another impressive feature of NetHunt CRM is its ability to integrate with live chat and chatbot systems.
This integration allows businesses to harness the power of real-time customer interactions, quickly converting chat data into actionable leads.
From our experience, it was straightforward to connect our live chat and chatbot accounts to NetHunt CRM.
All we had to do was navigate to the integrations tab, select the desired chat platform, and follow the prompts to link our accounts.
NetHunt CRM integrates with the following:
TelegramViberInstagramTelegramWhatsApp
Once connected, every conversation held with a customer through a chat interface was logged into NetHunt as a new contact or lead.
The CRM automatically updated contact information and stored chat history, giving us a comprehensive view of the customer’s interactions with our brand.
This feature came in handy when we wanted to follow up on inquiries or when we needed quick access to previous conversations.
Plus, it allowed us to provide a more personalized customer experience since we had a better understanding of our customers’ needs.
In summary, the live chat and chatbot integration in NetHunt CRM makes it an excellent tool for businesses looking to optimize their lead generation and improve customer engagement.
At Small Business Bonfire, we’re always on the lookout for robust task management features, and NetHunt CRM did not disappoint.
With this CRM, creating and assigning tasks is an incredibly straightforward process.
You can easily accomplish the following with NetHunt’s task management:
Specify the due dateDetermine task priorityAssign a team memberAdd related records (such as deals or contacts)
NetHunt also sends reminders to ensure tasks don’t fall through the cracks.
We created some simple tasks related to onboarding new users at Small Business Bonfire and were pleasantly surprised by how simple it was.
Here’s how the creation process looked to give you a better idea.
From there, we were able to view all of our tasks (and which user was assigned to each).
We could also sort each task by the following metrics:
NameDue datePriorityUpdated
Throughout our three months of testing with NetHunt, we weren’t particularly blown away by the task management capabilities. Still, it was certainly a nice addition to the powerful automation and sales tools!
NetHunt CRM presents an easy-to-use yet powerful reporting system, perfect for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
With NetHunt, you can easily create reports on the following:
User activityPipelineTime in stage
At Small Business Bonfire, we’re all about making data-driven decisions. So naturally, we created a ton of reports on our business processes throughout the three months of testing.
For example, we created a pipeline report (within seconds) about the deals we’ve won while using NetHunt. Here’s how the creation process looked.
We essentially followed these steps:
Name the reportSelect a folder from CRM recordsSelect stage or probabilityAssigned fields
And that was all it took to create comprehensive reports with NetHunt!
So if you’re looking for a great CRM to ramp up your entire sales process by studying your data, you can’t go wrong with NetHunt CRM.
No free plan – While not having a free plan isn’t the biggest limitation, it’s definitely a barrier to entry for SMBs on a shoestring budget. If NetHunt CRM offered even a basic free plan, they would open themselves to a world of new customers. No advanced marketing features – NetHunt CRM offers basic marketing capabilities like email campaigns and custom email templates. However, it lacks more advanced features like A/B testing or ad/landing page creation.
At Small Business Bonfire, we think having all your favorite tools in one toolbox at the ready is super important.
That’s where NetHunt integrations come in.
In addition to a great Gmail integration, NetHunt CRM integrates with a range of popular third-party applications and services through Zapier.
These include the following:
Google Workspace appsCalendlyGoogle SheetsJotFormMailChimp
NetHunt makes it easy to see all your automations in one place (shown below), which we thought was awesome. This means no more trying to remember if you unsynced that MailChimp integration by searching through your account settings.
These integrations allow you to manage your customer data seamlessly across multiple systems, all within NetHunt.
Our only complaint is that we would like to see more native integrations with NetHunt instead of having to rely on third-party Zapier connections.
Getting started with NetHunt CRM was a breeze from start to finish.
Let’s break it down for you.
First, we navigated to the homepage (shown below), where we were greeted with a bright blue call to action (CTA) to start a free trial.
Next, we signed up by entering our Small Business Bonfire Gmail account.
Then we filled out the following fields:
NamePhone numberJob titleCompany name
From there, we were taken to the dashboard. We started going through the helpful onboarding checklist (pictured below), and that was it!
Overall, onboarding with NetHunt was as easy as a few clicks and filling out a few fields. If we had to give it a rating, we’d say 10/10.
NetHunt CRM is incredibly simple to navigate and use. It takes complex CRM tasks and simplifies them to an exceptional degree, making it an ideal choice for businesses of all sizes.

We had virtually no issues while using NetHunt—it was that easy.
So to test their customer service’s responsiveness, we reached out with a quick question about getting started with Zapier integration.
We heard back as within a few hours, which is more than fair (considering the question was outside of business hours for the live chat).
However, we were able to find the answer just seconds after asking the question using NetHunt’s knowledge base!
All in all, NetHunt offers some great customer support, a vast knowledge base, and some great tutorial videos. Regarding customer service, NetHunt knocks it out of the park!
In today’s digital landscape, having a mobile app is no longer a luxury but a necessity for any CRM platform.
Mobile apps provide the advantage of accessing important information on the go, making it easier to manage customer relationships whenever and wherever.
We were pleased to find that NetHunt CRM understands this mobile-first world, offering a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android users.
We initiated our testing phase by downloading the iOS version of the NetHunt CRM app.
Here are some things we loved about the mobile app:
