Agilent Technologies Reports Mixed 1Q 2026 Financial Results

The Agilent CrossLab segment generated $758 million in revenue, leading the growth with a 9% increase. Meanwhile, the Applied Markets segment recorded $361 million in revenue, marking a 7% rise over the prior year.

Geographic Performance Divergence

The data shows a distinct contrast in revenue performance across different geographic markets. Revenue from U.S. points of sale reached $678 million, showing modest growth of 1%. Revenue from non-U.S. points of sale, however, demonstrated far more significant strength, increasing by 12% to reach $518 million.

Profitability Metrics and Future Outlook

Despite the positive revenue momentum, bottom-line profitability metrics declined. Net income for the quarter fell by 4.1% to $305 million. Consequently, GAAP Earnings Per Share (EPS) also decreased, dropping by 3.6% to $1.07. Conversely, Adjusted (non-GAAP) EPS saw a modest expansion, rising 3.8% to $1.21. Looking forward, the company provided specific guidance. For the upcoming second quarter (2Q) of 2026, Agilent forecasts revenue growth of 7% to 9%. Furthermore, the company’s outlook includes a projection for full-year (FY) 2025 revenue growth ranging between 4% and 5.5%.
