An analysis of recent data released via infographic on Agilent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: A) reveals a detailed overview of the company’s financial performance for the first quarter of 2026. The results provide a mixed narrative, with the company achieving solid top-line revenue expansion while navigating profitability challenges on a GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) basis compared to the same period last year. All comparisons provided are on a year-over-year basis.

For 1Q 2026, Agilent reported a total net revenue of $1,798 million, representing a 7.0% increase. The revenue generation was segmented across two key reporting divisions included in the data. Geographic Performance Divergence

The data shows a distinct contrast in revenue performance across different geographic markets. Revenue from U.S. points of sale reached $678 million, showing modest growth of 1%. Revenue from non-U.S. points of sale, however, demonstrated far more significant strength, increasing by 12% to reach $518 million.
