FIS has launched an
agentic AI suite for finance teams, including a module that forecasts cash flow
across multiple time horizons. The FIS Agentic Insights Suite combines internal
and external data to support cash flow analysis and risk assessment.
London’s trading industry is coming home!
Cash flow management
is also relevant to CFOs at retail CFD brokers, who oversee working capital,
regulatory capital requirements and counterparty risks. Finance Magnates has
reported that BP
Prime’s operator identified working capital needs and counterparty credit risk
among its financial concerns.
One Global Market’s
latest accounts show that it generated £411K
in operating cash flow in FY25, reversing a £710K outflow a year earlier.
Changes in working capital accounted for much of the improvement.
AI Suite Combines Internal and External
Data
The importance of
working capital management is also reflected in Deloitte’s Finance Trends 2026
survey. It found that 46% of global finance leaders identified working capital
optimisation as a priority area for agentic AI, while 14% said they had fully integrated
AI agents into their finance functions.
The platform combines
data from enterprise resource planning, treasury and customer relationship
management systems with external credit bureau and public data. FIS said this
is designed to reduce manual data reconciliation across finance, credit and treasury
teams.
FIS Adds Machine Learning to Cash
Forecasting
The cash flow
forecasting module uses machine learning and simulations to model different
scenarios, including delayed incoming payments and faster cash outflows. The
suite also provides real-time account scoring, recommendations and dashboards
through Microsoft Power BI. Users can submit questions in natural language.
“Most finance teams
can tell you what happened to their cash last quarter; very few can tell you
what happens next month with confidence,” said Andrés Choussy, President of
Capital Markets at FIS.
The suite connects
with FIS’s receivables products, GETPAID and BillerIQ, and treasury products,
Integrity and Quantum. FIS said deployment can take weeks rather than months.
Planned future
releases include payment anomaly detection and dispute forecasting. The suite
is also designed to help finance teams manage days sales outstanding, a measure
of how long a business takes to collect payments.
